Having a machine dedicated to a single project is not a good idea as there can and probably will be periods when the project has insufficient work, or for various technical reasons, is unable to supply any. My usual approach is to have 4 or 5 interesting projects on each machine, and a backstop project set at low priority to cover periods when none of the ordinary ones are sending work.

For the past year I have been processing tasks 24/7. Often weeks worth in local queue. Recently I rarely get any tasks to compute. This is a machine solely dedicated to einstienathome and now it mostly sits idle 24/7........

Everyone, let me repeat myself yet again: please keep your comments on topic. I'll have to lock the thread for everyone if people continue to ignore this, and that would be a shame.
