WHEN USING THE "UPDATE" FUNCTION I STARTED GETTING THE MESSAGE THAT I WAS NOT REQUESTING ANY NEW WORK. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?

HARV,

No, it is Boinc that is not requesting new work, and is also not reporting any finished results, probably because there is not finished work to report. Boinc will request new work all_by_itself, when your project shares and preferences settings make that request necessary. It's rather a hands-off thing, seeking to acquire and maintain a balance of work according to the shares/preferences, and is best left alone to "do it's thing". NY NO MEANS should you mess with the Detach or Reset buttons without previously seeking help here. Those should be considered as "last resort" options.
