My old Asus P5K-E has decided to stop reading my Intel SSD. So I swapped it into my other machine, where it works fine.

Sadly I have had to abort several tasks as they were running out of time.

I am currently finishing the last task, is there any easy way to set the process affinity to a given core to speed up the process ?

Thanks in advance.

Hard drive problems, and process affinity question.

Cleared my tasks...

Hmmm, SSD is fine on my "wee-PC", so re-built into my other machine, but now have three incompatible PC's listed on my account.

Found that the Southbridge on my HTPC was hot enough to burn my fingers ! ! !

Added a large fan and now soak testing the PC at the moment.

Yes but you have to do it thru Task Manager and it only works for the current work unit, as soon as you finish it Boinc automatically goes back to the default of no processor affinity for the next unit.
