        Looks like OS version Microsoft Windows 98 SE, (04.10.2222.00). I took that from the logs, thought maybe I could hasten a solution? for Dora.

          To me this looks like a harddisk (partition) that ran full. It may also be a problem with access rights, but that's rather unlikely.

            Yep, it is an old Gateway with Windows 98 SE. I am about to get a new computer and use this one as it's buddy, but, in any case, I have completed Einstein units before, so should I try again or is Einstein too brilliant for this old lady?

                Suggestion for you. Download and install version 5.4.9 of BOINC. This fixes some of the timer issues that the older versions had. Plus it will most likely be needed for upcoming versions of Einstein.
