I can't download any one more

I can't download any one more since yesterday. Is there any change in the server?

Not only can I not download

Not only can I not download any of these work units, the ones I did complete are all waiting for validation for a few days now.

Plus instead of getting these test work units one of my computers (Windows XP) got Gamma-Ray #5 instead, I don't have that selected and I don't have the option ticked to get work from non selected preferences.

I quess that's normal at this point. I have some of these tasks waiting for validation from 15th February, like you do.

Are you sure you have set that host under venue/location that has these settings:

Run test applications? (under Beta Settings) : enabled

Gamma-Ray #5 : disabled

Continuous Gravitational Wave search O2 All-Sky Tuning: enabled

Allow non-preferred apps: disabled

Your host shouldn't receice FGRP5 tasks if those settings are applied.

I dont' have any other suggestions. If the problem continues, my next step would be upgrading Windows XP 32-bit and ancient Boinc version to something more recent.

Thanks RICHIE,I had checked

Thanks RICHIE,

I had checked all those things and the settings were as I stated and as you suggested.

As another Linux computer has now also downloaded some Gamma-Ray #5 work units, I did another check.

Found that there is a "Generic" and a "Home" and that they are not the same.

I had changed the "Generic" settings thinking they are the same as "Home".

As they are not the same I have now also made the same settings in "Home" and await new work to see if the settings work.

As for ancient BOINC versions, well I only recently upgraded them from 6.12.45, so to me they are very modern versions. They are doing the job so I leave them alone, at least for the time being.

The test run revealed some

The test run revealed some problem that we are still investigating whether it is in the validator, the application, the data or the setup (or more than one of these). In order to not (potentially) waste more computing power, we put the run "on hold", in particular the validator was stopped (as you can see on the server status page) and bo new work is sent out.

Sorry for the late notice, we have our hands pretty full these days.

Should we continue running

Should we continue running any downloaded work, or just abort any non-started tasks?

Discussion about whether to continue the current run or re-start it (with a new name, partially new data etc.) is still ongoing. You will certainly be credited for the work you (or your computers) did, whether the results will be of any scientific use for us is still questionable.

We found we need to re-start

We found we need to re-start the tuning run with modified data and applications, as "O2AS20-500T2",
