Have I missed some tech info about a stop of all GPU tasks?
I only run GPU for E@H, and looks like there isn't any more work for GPU's:-(
I'm aware there's a test of a CPU beta, but wasn't aware that it would require a stop of all GPU work generation.

BRP4G queue is filling up as I write. This should keep your GPUs busy until we fix the BRP6 queue on Monday.

Hi Christian,
Much obliged for your prompt response. Have a good weekend.

I always keep my hosts
)
I always keep my hosts stocked up as far as BRP6 (Parkes PMPS XT) v1.57 GPU tasks.
But for some reason last night I got 5 GRP #1 tasks and all my setting are only set for the BRP6 tasks.
It just reminds me of how long it takes to crunch those compared to the GPU tasks.
It just happened to be on my only 8-core so that is why I got 5 of those tasks.

Read this thread. It's because you allow test apps which means any test apps, not just for science runs you may have selected. See the last message in the thread by Bernd.
Cheers,
Gary.

Magic, I followed your advice

Magic, I followed your advice and installed the Geforce GTX 750 board with no problem, and is now crunching SETI@home GPU tasks (I got 20)with gusto. But I haven't yet received a single Einstein@home GPU task, while I am crunching Gamma-ray tasks both on the Linux laptop and the Windows 10 PC. Strangely, they seem faster on the laptop than on the PC, where two of them are taking a long time, while a third one is faster.

As you probably know the server has no Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Parkes PMPS XT) tasks right now but we should on Monday some time so just make sure it is set to get those tasks (4,400 credits each)
Now one thing you also need to do is leave ONE core free since the GPU needs to be able to borrow and your 750 will run faster that way.
And right now you can also run the Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo, GPU) tasks (1000 credits each and they run fairly fast)
The · Gamma-ray pulsar search #4 you have running can take a bit longer on yours.
Running Seti at the same time will slow you down too.
On my quad cores I run mostly the vLHC X2 and maybe one Atlas and then have my GPU set to run Einstein X2 (usually BRP6 when I have those tasks and I do tend to stay stocked up)
