My current Einstein work unit is 39% completed, but its status is odd, it says that the GPU is missing. It certainly is not, the same card has been in the machine for months, and has routinely been used, both by me, and BOINC.

Is that your Windows 10 machine? Did it get an automatic driver update from Microsoft? Only the OpenCL component seems to be missing.

It is that machine. In fact, it is the only machine I have running at the moment, I am awaiting parts to rebuild my other one. I have been investigating the return to Windows 8.1 actually. The update came from MS. Can I install the missing part from somewhere?

Not usually independently, but the drivers from the manufacturer are usually complete. I don't know the AMD range or download website offhand myself, but there are others here who do.
