GPU Missing

    I have a GTX 980 video card and it isn't recognized. I get a GPU missing message, yet when I load Precision X 16 it shows the GPU is available. I have tried reloading the drivers, rebooting, loading new projects and nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

      Your using Windows Server 2012, have you installed Boinc in protected mode so that it runs as a service?
      Boinc can't detect GPUs when running as a service, it needs to run under a user account.

      From the Boinc wiki:

      Quote:
      Protected application execution - Run project applications under an unprivileged account. This provides increased protection against faulty applications, but it prevents BOINC from using your GPU, and it may cause graphics to not work with older applications.
