I have prefs set to no GWS6LV1 tasks
I have prefs set to no for other work in lieu
Yet I have been sent several GWS6LV1 over the past 24 hrs.
The above prefs are the same for both local & e@h home.
The Rig which recieved the tasks was set at home and so should AFAIK not have been sent those tasks..
I'm using Boinc v7.0.25 if that has any bearing.

getting tasks of wrong type according to global & local prefs

Yes, this is a known bug in the "locality scheduler". Currently you can't opt out of "locality scheduling" Apps (S6LV1, S6Bucket etc.).
Edit: This is planned to be fixed with the next server code upgrade, which is already delayed for a few months. Not sure when this will happen.

OK, as long as I know its a buglet thet will be fixed:-) The trouble is all einstein tasks preempt any other projects tasks..
I guess the solution is to micromange the tasks as far as is possible untill a fix is forthcomming.
[edit]
I would also like to point out that those tasks exceeded my cache limits, by serveral hours according to both estimated and actual run times.
