Hi fellow crunchers,
I'd like to report the following "problem" (it's not a problem in a technical sense but a bit anoying after all).
Whenever I fire up BOINC on any of my computers, it doesn't take long until the following message appears:
Einstein@Home: Notice from BOINC
Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project. To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site
None of my machines is currently crunching E@H nor are they requesting any WUs at the moment, thus the message.
So far this message seems to be Einstein-specific as I'm not receiving similar messages from other projects.
Is it possible to turn this message off?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Not as long as you are attached to Einstein then no you cannot turn it off, it is simply a report informing you that during a work fetch event it checked and your settings are telling Einstein to not send you any work, and it did not get any.
I see that same thing for

I see that same thing for more projects than just Einstein. It's nothing you can turn off unless you remove the project.

Yeah now that I have a couple of asic miners I see it on the projects where they do not use them, 'no work available for asic miner device'. I also see it for my gpu's on projects that I have set to not use my gpu's either 'work is available for gpu but your settings don't allow it' or however they phrase it. It's just a notice informing me of stuff, not an actual error message.
