New user here (SETI refugee). I got my profile approved which already had my avatar file uploaded (100x100 .jpg). After the "waiting for approval" sign went away, I checked my posts and it doesn't show in the forum. I posted a new post and it still didn't show. I went to my profile and re-uploaded it, and now it's "waiting for approval" again. Am I doing anything wrong? If not, how do I contact an Admin (perhaps they will respond here?).
I told all my friends I could teach them how to be funny, but they all just started laughing at me.

The avatar (picture shown in forum posts) settings are found under Account -> Preferences -> Community.
If you haven't tried that one, do so first. You can also choose to use a Gravatar if you have one.
The picture in the profile will only be shown in the profile.
