Is this happening repeatly? If not, don't worry about it. It is just indicating that BOINC had a communication problem and that it may only be a temporary condition.

It has happened about 5x for this WU. Never happened before.
RE: "Is this happening

There is report of a similar problem here. Are you in the same general area? That is, would your computer normally be contacting the server in Germany? If so, maybe it's a server problem.
RE: RE: "Is this

I am in California, and since attempting this upload have successfully downloaded another WU.

I am also having probelms uploading. My last 5 uploads have failed with this:

Have been getting this for a week now. Anyone know what error 413 is?
I download fine. I am on EST.
RE: I am also having

A google search found this, which might suggest an answer.
http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=3415
It seems to pertain to information being too large for the receiver to handle.
Long URL string or file too large, etc.
Thanks for the input CJ.
)
Thanks for the input CJ. Using my computer at work, and we regularly transfer much, much larger files so size is not an issue (all uploads <3MB). Been transfering since beginning of December with no issues until end of last week.
Any other ideas anyone?
The file uploading problems
)
The file uploading problems are due to an emergency change that David Anderson made in the BOINC client a couple of months ago when SETI BOINC was having trouble with its servers. Unknown to me, he modified the client so that if the upload file size is less than one megabyte, the client always tries to upload the file starting from the begining, rather than doing partial uploads.
If one of these uploads failed, then the next attempt would cause problems on the server side.
After some discussion, David has reverted this change: future clients won't suffer from this problem.
As a temporary workaround for people using current clients, I have modified the Einstein@Home server-side upload code to eliminate the failure mode.
People with slow connections who have trouble completing uploads should upgrade their BOINC client as soon as a new release comes out. 5.2.13 is flawed in its handling of file uploads.

I'm having similar problem with this WU...

It is successfuly uploaded as Client error (I have to close Albert from task manager, and that cause Client error), but now BOINC tries to upload this Result all the time with error 413...

The last attempt is with "not found" because I manualy delete Result file from Boinc/projects folder. But it still tries to upload it. Is there nay other way I could delete manualy this Result file so that BOINC stop trying to uploade it?

Maybe by editing the client_state.xml? There should be a section for file transfers. Stop BOINC. MAKE A BACKUP. Edit the file. Restart BOINC.
This is recommended only, if you know sth. about XML though.
If you are on broadband you can savely reset the project. Do this
after a result finishes, so to lose no CPU time.
