But did they have a narrow escape, remaining in a pub for pleasant conversation, or were they subjected to the inanities of such a worthless contest?
Fortunately, my brother was visiting and we both agreed to neither watch the football nor Eurovision.
We chose a DVD film which took us safely across the time space, so we would not "accidentally" bump in to either feature.
Some of us are old, grumpy and boring - but keep our logic, humour and sanity.

This time there were so many good singers competing with marvellous songs but finally Lena performing Satellite was lucky enough to win.
