I am not a tech or computer literate and this is driving me insane. I keep geting errors in computing or aborted by user. In a way I can understand would someone please explain what is happening. This is written on a lot of all the results screens. I want to keep letting them use my computer for these searches but I don't want to waste their time if it is something I can't fix.

All of your tasks show error, exit code -185.
This is an error that will occur:
- if BOINC couldn't start the application.
- if files are missing.
- upon catch of other error returns.
- on nonzero exit or signal.
- if exceeded resource limit.
- as catch-all for resume/start errors.
Rebooting your machine will most of the times fix these.

What is your antivirus?
Some of them make wild things to the files BOINC/projects use.
Check the Quarantined items and "Threat" logs in the antivirus.
