Hello

Could someone have a look over the results of this machine please ?
http://einsteinathome.org/host/685457/tasks

All results end with this :
5.4.9

app_version download error: couldn't get input files:

einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.exe
-200

I first recommanded my teammate to check his HD for errors, but I suspect the problem may come from something else

Thanks for your help

How long has this been going on? RAC of 0.03, daily quota of 1/CPU/day suggests it's a veeeerrryy long time since he got a successful download.

He's using BOINC 5.4.9: there's a newer version, 5.4.11, which was brought out in a hurry because McAfee firewall was causing downloads to fail.

Does he run other projects? If so, proceed with care: but otherwise I would suggest he un-installs BOINC, removes the folder left behind, and does a clean install/reattach using 5.4.11 After all, he's got nothing to lose here!

I will investigating the McAfee Firewall but I doubt the problem comes from there.
He runs Seti without any problem ont that machine. He runs the very same machine on the same network without any problem (Einstein and Seti).
He already detached several times without solving the problem.
Let's see if the complete removal / reinstall solves...
