The following are just some of the results I have received from Einstein in the last 15 hrs online:
Puter is all but new, and has no probs with Rosetta, ABC or Milkyway. Is on Ubuntu 64 bit has just 2Gb of RAM. IS this common or should I just hang around until it clears up?

Did you install the 32 bit libraries? Einstein does not have a 64 bit application, only 32 bit. So your OS must know about this through the shared libraries.
And which 32 bit libraries

And which 32 bit libraries should I have installed?

Looking into the link giving earlier by Ageless, I gave you limited information. It should be:
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs libstdc++6 libstdc++5 freeglut3
Thanks should go to Ageless. ;)
