It doesn't happen very often, say once per week, but it is annoying: the BOINC client cannot download a BRP4cuda32nv301 task. Error message = "Error while downloading". Please have a look at these tasks 368313414, 368289723, 364521608 (examples of the last few days) to see further details. It is noticeable that these three errors (and all the others I remember) occured in the first hour past midnight, i.e. between 0:00 and 1:00 AM UTC. Once such an error occurred, all further downloads from Einstein@home servers are blocked until I manually cancel the faulty download. This means I have to look after this Boinc client every day (which is impossible during holydays) to avoid it is running out of tasks because downloading has stopped.
A first approach to a solution might be to tell the Boinc client not to perform any downloads between 0:00 and 1:00 AM. Is this possible?

Yes, set your computing preferences, more specifically the Use network only between the hours of to 01:00 and 00:00 (don't turn them around, we're telling BOINC it can use the network for 23 hours a day, not 1 hour!).
If you're using the local advanced preferences, set these values in the Network usage tab there. You're required to run the BOINC client with "Network based on preferences" to make this work.
