Error on file upload

    I have about 23 units awaiting transfer (upload). Whenever an upload is attempted I get a message like:

    10/22/2006 1:15:16 PM|Einstein@Home|Error on file upload: socket read incomplete: asked for 16382, got 0: No such file or directory.

    What is the fix for this problem?

      Have you tried exiting/restarting BOINC? Or, rebooting your computer?

      EDIT: I also noticed your version of BOINC is a little old - might be time to update.

        I just downloaded and installed BOINC 5.4.11 and restarted. I still get the same message:

          I just looked at your Results for computer and noticed that you really don't have "23 units awaiting transfer" but that you "errored out" a bunch of WU's about 10 days ago. Looking at some of the "errored out" units a little more closely makes me think you had a disk problem back then. I suggest you try running Disk Check. If that doesn't fix it, you should think about doing a "Reset project" for Einstein (which should clear out the old "errored out" units from your Einstein folder).
