When my machine is idle the elapsed time on my project/search increases regularly 1 second @ 1 second intervals. Time remaining also increases but at a faster rate - I estimate at about 1.5 seconds @ 1 second intervals. This seems intuitively incorrect but I am sure there is a sensible explanation. I post this as a bug inasmuch as I am not permitted to use the forum until I receive credit.

The initial time to completion is a guestimate from the estimated Flops ( floating point operations) for the task and the benchmark figures for the computer, multiplied by the Task Duration Correction Factor (TDCF or DCF).
The DCF for a computer that has just attached, or that has been reset, is 1.000000, it will change as tasks complete.
The DCF figure for your computer can be seen at bottom of the computer summary page, and will probably rise when the first task is completed and reported, mine is at 1.184.
