Installed BOINC 5.4.11 on new computer. Attached to project as existing user. I get new work units and all files transfer down *except* einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.pdb.

It fails as a partial (truncated) transfer and immediately restarts. This repeats forever.

Exited BOINC mgr and restarted. No Joy.
Reset the project. No Joy.
Detached and re-Attached. No Joy.

Following are the three error messages that repeat and repeat and repeat ...

11/3/2006 4:49:42 PM|Einstein@Home|Started download of file einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.pdb

11/3/2006 4:49:44 PM|Einstein@Home|Incomplete read of less than 5KB for einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.pdb - truncating

11/3/2006 4:49:44 PM|Einstein@Home|Temporarily failed download of einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.pdb: Error 403

einstein_S5R1_4.24_windows_intelx86.pdb transfer fails - Error 4

It might help to (temporary) set the timezone of your computer to the other side of the world so that the BOINC client tries a different download server.

You can also try to download the file manually from our download directory and put it into the project directory.

Or see this thread for downloading it in a zip archive.
