I keep getting a popup that says einsteinbinary_BRP4G_1.56_windows_... has stopped working. I think this happens when BOINC decided the machine has been idle long enough and tries to restart GPU tasks.
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise x64
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-1650
GPU: NVIDIA Quadro K2200
Any advice? Is it possible to disable GPU processing in the mean time?

That is the first-try CUDA55 for 64-bit windows variant of the BRP4G application. It does not work. I suggest you abort all tasks of this exact flavor on your machine. Distribution of this specific variant was already disabled many hours ago, so you will not get fresh ones.
There is a thread on this topic.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that all the GPU-based binary radio pulsar search tasks are now cuda32 - so I guess everything is back to a stable version?
