I just started using BOINC again after time off. Einstein was my first choice of a project. I tried a few others that provided no work, so I deleted them. However, at present I have einstein, milkyway, and NumberFields. I set the resource share to 50 for both milkyway and NumberFields. I upped Einstein to 100 whereas it had previously been set to 50. However, after this change and multiple updates for Einstein, the resource share listed in the Projects page of BOINC Manager (in advanced view) still shows only 50. Is there a problem with the einstein project preferences update?

Many thanks,

Bill

Check that you changed the

Check that you changed the venue preferences that the host is REALLY in. Likely you changed a different one and why it reflects no change in BOINC.  Verify the host location is actually what you want.

Keith, thanks for your reply.

Keith, thanks for your reply. You nailed it. I didn't realize that the settings for this particular machine were set to "gerernic," but I was using the "home" project preferences.

Again, thanks,

Bill
