Hi everyone, this is the first time I write here.
Yesterday I had a trouble with Einstein@home. It reported an error such as "Exit status with no finish line" or something like that; unfortunately I restarted the computer, and I don't remember the words exactly.
Now the computation is stopped at 14,868% and it does not go on.
What shall I do?
Should I abort the task?

Do check that BOINC or the task isn't suspended.

Welcome to the message boards.
This message is not usually a problem (it has been around in various forms for years) unless you are getting it repeatedly at short intervals. The best thing is to ignore it if you are only seeing it a couple of times per day or less frequently. It can be caused (amongst other things) by an overstressed computer - ie overclocked too much or running too hot.
This also can happen due to heat and/or overclocking. You can usually get things moving again by stopping and restarting BOINC.
Check your machine for overheating. Check and clean your heatsink and fan. Run hardware diagnostic tests like prime95 and memtest to check for any RAM or CPU errors.
No. The problem is unlikely to be related to the task. It's more likely a symptom of heat/flakey hardware.
Cheers,
Gary.
