on my Boinc manager i run seti and einstein you can see them on projects tab but in the tasks tab only seti is there so i go to einstein and tell it to update and in the message window it says sending scheduler request reason requested by user (not reguesting new work or reporting completed tasks) scheduler request succeeded How do i get it to give me new tasks

If you really want to force Einstein@Home to get work, you can suspend the SETI project for a few minutes and then Update the einstein project again, just to make sure everything is still ok with your installation. Don't forget to resume the SETI project after BOINC has (hopefully) downloaded an E@H workunit.

I have set a 300 share to Einstein in my preferences and 100 share to both SETI and QMC. Then I leave all decisions to BOINC and it runs Einstein for 3 hours and SETI for one hour. QMC is called rarely, because it has very long WUs.
