I notice my E@H client has stopped running with a message "To get more Einstein@Home work, finish current work, stop BOINC, remove app_info.xml file, and restart." Following these instructions just gets a reply "platform 'i386-portbld-freebsd' not found".

The FreeBSD clients are located at
http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/app_test/FreeBSD/ and I suspect the problem is a lack of S5R2 client there.

Could someone either upload a suitable client or provide pointers to the sources and build process to allow me to build one myself.

E@H stopped working on FreeBSD

Message from Bernd in the Number Crunching Forum that explains the situation:

You'll need a new App.

I'm still hunting a rather serious bug in the Linux App, and as long as I haven't found it, I neither have time for other platforms, nor do I dare to further spread this bug (it might be a rather generic Un*x one).

I won't drop FreeBSD support, but I need to finish this Linux issue first.
