I am running a dual monitor setup on one of my machines and the screensaver doesn't appear to work.
Anyone else with a similiar setup having problems?
A few things to consider here: There is a "graphics bug" related to running Einstein 4.79 with BOINC 4.45. The Einstein Beta application has a fix (see link under More Information on the E@H home page). There are also some known problems with ATI graphics cards (again check the Beta App). Finally, is the driver for your graphics card up to date? Some problems have been reported with old drivers. None of these issues are peculiar to dual monitor set ups but are worth checking out first as a first step.
It'll probably be more the problem that the graphics are OpenGL, which can not be rendered on more than one monitor at the same time on the present days videocards.
Thanks for the responses. Yes, my drivers are up-to-date.
Is anyone else running a dual-monitor configuration and able to see the screen saver? Or is it simply the limitations of OpenGL?

Works fine on my Win2k system - Matrox G450 + ATI Radeon 7000. Running BOINC 4.19 and Einstein@Home 4.79.

If you were trying it with the G450 only, you'd notice it wouldn't work.
One videocard's RAMDAC can only send the video overlay to one monitor at a time. Two videocards = two overlays. So you are cheating the system. ;)
OpenGL by default can not show on dual/multi monitors from one videocard.
Or at least, the videocards presently out. I read on OpenGL's site that OpenGL 1.4 (??) has multi-monitor capabilities. But no card is out yet that can do that.

The screensaver works just fine with the G450 in dual monitor mode. Its a lot slower though.
Yes - the beta problem seems to fix that problem.
Now, hopefully it processes correctly.
I've been using the Beta (with no problems) for about 2 months now. And, I had been having processing problems with 4.79 (after upgrading to BOINC 4.45 from 4.19). It's supposedly little slower though (maybe 10%). But, since most of my WU's were crashing with 4.79, the speed didn't matter to me. Good luck!

Update: Dell Latitude D810 - with BenQ 19" LCD secondary monitor.
I disabled my 2ndary monitor and it still doesn't display.
Dell laptop is using an ATI Radeon x600, so that must be the problem.

As I suggested earlier, try the Beta app. It fixes the ATI problems that 4.79 has.
