I was sent a funny Jon Stewart link and when I played it, the window had a message to get a new driver for my XP, but it played the link. So I went to the site:
http://www.driverupdate.net/articles/xp_download/windows-xp-driver-downloads.php?aps=winXPtextsplit2
They say it's easy, but this is me they're talking to and they don't know how little things get so messed up in my capable hands...
I'm pretty sure that I am going to download the driver. My question is should I pause Einstein to do it, or should I not bother getting the new driver. It might even help Einstein get better results.
Has anyone downloaded the new driver for XP?
Thanks in advance...

Driver Update Windows XP
)
Hi Fadedrose, IMO, Do not download. It is a program to scan your comp to check to see if you need driver updates. As long as your comp is running fine and are getting windows updates from WINDOWS you should be fine. Often these type of programs have other things you don't need in them as well even possibly bad for you computer. Only download from sites you know and trust and or ask on this or other boards for advise. Re: the second part when updating drivers and etc. it is best to pause and then shut down BOINC do your update then restart your computer if it tells you then open BOINC and resume running.
Thanks. I will follow your

Thanks. I will follow your advice and not bother with the download.
It might be a great thing, but I think I want to stay away from it. I had a doubt and that's why I posted.
Thanks again.
