I just joined a few days ago and have been unable to download the application. The errors are always the same; here are the most recent messages:

After the failures BOINC will go ahead and download the WUs, but of course it can't do anything with them.

Just for grins I deleted the contents of /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu, which consisted of
einsteinbinary_ABP2_5.03_graphics_i686-apple-darwin
einsteinbinary_ABP2_5.11_i686-apple-darwin__ABP2cuda23
libcudart32_23.dylib
libcufft32_23.dylib
libtlshook32_23.dylib
That's also the entire list of files failing to download with checksum errors, so we'll see what happens when the next download attempt takes place in a few hours. The files I deleted were all zero-length.
Incidentally, both boinc_master and boinc_project have read/write on that directory. The permissions on einstein.phys.uwm.edu are identical to the permissions on climateprediction.net, and CPDN has been running happily for two days shy of two years.
