Does this workunit have a chance of being sent to anyone else or will I never get any credit for it?

It's been sent out several times with most computers having a problem with it, but the last time was June 19th and it's not been resent since!! It's now 10 days later and with each send it adds another 13 days of time, that will make it a good 3 weeks still to go assuming you send it out today!! According to BoincStats there are 11,902 active computers here at Einstein, you'd think one of them could crunch the workunit if you'd just resend it to one of them!!

As long as the number of errors don't exceed 7 and the total number of tries is no more than 20 it will be sent out again, although it might take some time depending on scheduler priorities and when a suitable host comes along and asks for work. Remember that Einstein try to limit the amount of data that needs to be downloaded by waiting for a host that already has the data files needed for this task, there is a limit on how long the scheduler will wait before it sends the work to the next host that has a chance of completing it.

The longer it waits the smaller the chance that the data files are still out there.
