Does anyone here have the 5.3.16 Boinc install program for Windows XP still?
I noticed that Boinc has eliminated It from existance on their download page, Yet they kept the older 5.2.13 for some reason.

The 5.2.13 was a release version, whereas 5.3.16 was a developmental (beta) version, now surplanted by the new 5.4.9 recommended release. In general, any version which has the 2nd integer an odd number is alpha or beta software. I know, this doesn't answer your question, just informative.

I sincerely doubt that 5.3.16 was ever listed as recommended version on page with URL http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php. A completely different story though is page with URL http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php?dev=1 which usually lists also newest development version of BOINC. Which is usually clearly marked as Testing only or something.
