The Remove button is greyed out, so that does not work.
I had the same problem, but with a different project.
If you are using "BOINCstatsBAM!" with the "BOINC Manager", then the following might help you:
1) Make sure there are no E@H WUs listet on EACH computer (PC). There must be no E@H WUs "ready to start", "ready to report", "uploading" or pending transfers on ALL PCs.
2) An update or retry pending transfers can help clear the cache.
3) If you are using BAM!, then logon to it. If not, then stop reading.
4) Select the "BAM!" option on the left hand menu.
5) In the sub-menu that has now opened, select the "Projects" option.
6) In the list of project now showing, go to/on the E@H line and select/click very EXACTLY ON the "show hosts" symbol in order to edit the options.
7) In the list of hosts you will see a column named "ATTACH".
8) If there is a "check mark", then click on it.
9) In the "small" window that has now opened, make a check mark in the "NO" circle in the top line named "ATTACH".
10) Now be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the small window and click on the "SAVE" button !!!!
11) Do this, obviously, for each/every PC in the list.
12) Logout from "BAM!".
13) In the "BOINC Manager" select "Tools" and click on "Synchronize with BOINCstatsBAM!".
14) Now stop or exit BOINC Manager.
15) RESTART your computer (PC)!
16) Start BOINC Manager
17) Do another "Synchronize" in the "Tool" option (just for the "fun" of it).
18) Now you will/should most likely have two situations:
Either the project E@H is gone from the project list.
Or you can click the "remove" button that is now not grayed out anymore.
Hope this will work for you. But maybe you have a different "problem" or "situation".
I had the strange experience, that I had to wait about 40 (!) hours for three of my eight PCs to react to the above mentioned procedure -- so maybe you might also have to wait a day or two ...
Yes, I have selected the project. And no, the Remove button is disabled for several projects.
I even tried to stop Boinc Manager and then delete ALL files that was related to a project before starting up BM. The projects was gone - until next day. Then they was back again.
I also tried to set the projects not to get new tasks. That also lasted for a day. This projects acts like virus for me!
Just completed a delete of ALL files related to the projects I want to remove (stopped BM before doing so). Then I edited the XML files to remove any sections related to those projects. Then started BM.
All unwanted projects was gone... for less than an hour. Now two of them are back. The next step will be to block traffic in the firewall to those projects hoping it will stop this madness.
Either from the Projects tab

Either from the Projects tab in the Manager >>Remove>> button or via the boinccmd command line utility.

Did you actually 'select' (ie. highlight) the project you wish to remove?
Before you do, it would be appreciated if you abort and report back tasks (if any) that you have on board.
Cheers,
Gary.
