Both... I had inadvertently locked myself out of the second account by changing the account email address to the same one I put on the newer account. I didn't realize what I was doing (NOOB). When I tried to delete that account I got "account already exists" message. So, I quit using the CPID from the second E@H account, and just waited. In that process I also uninstalled and reinstalled BoincMGR on the computer that harbored the second account. Making sure all boinc project accounts that got restarted were on the CPID associated with the E@H account that I wanted to keep.
Then I just waited. I suppose the system cleared the hangup? OR, someone found the error and fixed it.
I think that registering two CPID's with the same email is what caused the glitch. But I really don't know for sure.
The moral of the story... Don't cross the streams!!!
It happens more often that you'd think, one thing I wish the Boinc software would be more helpful in when people sign up for multiple projects. I don't know HOW that could happen, maybe a small note or something, but lots of people use different logins for each project and then want to know why they don't all show up as one.
