I've posted in the Science forum many times, but when I try now I get a message saying my account doesn't have enough credits? Can anyone tell me what this is about? I couldn't find anywhere in my account profile that indicated how many "credits" my account has. I don't know how to acquire sufficient credits in order to post in the Science forum.

Please help.

Dan, you'll need 'recent active credits' ( RAC ) and not just a total from previous work. RAC is a rolling ( and decaying ) average of recently returned and credited work units. For that, simply attach a computer to the project and start crunching. I believe the threshold is one (1), so it won't take much. This is an anti nuisance/spam etc policy measure unrelated to yourself personally. :-)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Also, take a look under your avatar on any message you post and you will see your current total credit (97K) and your RAC - currently 0. As Mike says, you just need to get it above 1. One task per week would probably do that :-).

Gary.

And you've been told the same

And you've been told the same answers as you asked the same question on 10 Aug.

[edit]You don't even need to upgrade from your 5.8.16 BOINC. I'm running 5.10.45 on Einstein without problems (and 5.8.16 on SETI).[/edit]
