Why is Einstein@Home asking for my credit card information? My firewall is stopping transfer of this information, but is also stopping the transfer of finished packets.
Why is Einstein@Home asking for my credit card information? My firewall is stopping transfer of this information, but is also stopping the transfer of finished packets.
There is no way that Einstein would ask for your credit card information... There has to be some kind of spyware/virus on your PC!
The data that Einstein (or any DC project) sends back to the server is large and full of numbers. Therefore, there is some chance that some of these numbers just happen to make up one of your personal numbers. This is just random happenstance.
