Crash after Show graphics

Touker – It would be extremely helpful if you allowed the forum to view your computer(s), in order to provide possible solutions to your posting. Also helpful, would be what version of the BOINC Client you are using?

Did you try the test app

Did you try the test app version? This may well resolve your problem. See Cafe Einstein for the link.

No, I didn't try test app. I haven't had any knowledge of that before.

I hid my computers initially because I didn't know what information will be visible. Now I'm not able to find switch for unhide.
I'm using Dell Optiplex GX280, 1GB RAM, P4@3GHz dualcore or HT - I don't know, i910 or i915 chipset w/built-in graphic. BOINC client 4.45.

Touker – To show your computer(s) (un-hide them), log into your account and go to find the “Preferences” heading on the main page and then click on “View or edit Einstein@Home preferences”, One of the line items refers to hidden or display your computers; this is what you need to edit. Next click on “edit”, a little further down the same page and change the setting so that your computers can be displayed.

It would also be helpful to know if your graphics card is an ATI graphics card, which can be found out in your system information lookup, assuming you are using Microsoft Windows, which I think you are by the look of your posted description.

Another item you may want to try is; setting your computer’s “Screen Saver” to display a “Blank” screen or set it to “None”. Let the forum know if your system still crashes after this experience, please.

Stay with it, I’m sure E@H can solve your problems.

I already unhid my computer. I haven't ATI graphics card, I'm using built-in graphics card in intel i91x chipset. I have had set screensaver to blank already.

I will not waste your time anymore, simply I will never press "Show graphics" button again. One small off-topic remark: It is nice and user-attracting the SETI diploma certificate of donated computer cycles.

Thanks for your time and effort
