Yes, pounding the update key will make the server time you our for a while. Please do not micromanage. It will update on it's own. If the server is busy, you are not helping.

That's true. But the history of the failed upload is much longer as you can see here. I'm not able to upload since 11th of january.

Were there updates that happened on/near that date? Did you do Windows updates, or other firewall software updates, or virus software updates? All which can cause this.

Have you tried going to http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/EinsteinAtHome_cgi/cgi in your web browser, what does the page say?

Your computers are hidden and I can not examine further as to if I can see any other issues.

Why I believe it might be a firewall on your side is "HTTP gateway timeout". This tells me that it can not get past your side.

I hope you can find out the issue.

I made regular Windows updates. The computer which I'm talking about is located in my company.
I don't understand why the other projects like QMC are still communicating with their servers and einstein not.
We have a watchgurad firewall, but we had this one before the problems have begun, too.
Is there a known problem with the regular windows updates??
Thanks a lot.
