HUH?? Sorry folks, but I'm stumped. What gives? I didn't catch any error messages if there were any and don't have any add ons running. Was running BOINC 5.4 but have since changed to 5.8. Any ideas? No apparent problems with other projects running.

Any help would be appreciated.

With that many (and similar) consecutive errors, I'd consider Resetting the project via the BOINC Manager.

Hey Paul... :)
You're not overclocking at all are you?
If the reset of the project doesn't help, the only other suggestions I have would be to try turning HyperThreading off and updating your video drivers and DirectX and see if all that helps...
Hi Bikeman and Brian, I

Hi Bikeman and Brian,
I have reset the project and will monitor and let you know what happens in .... dear God, 60 hours! With all the other projects I'm running it will take awhile. I should make the deadline .... I hope! lol
Thanks for the help,
Paul
*EDIT* Sorry, no overclocking here, lol with the long hot summer coming up I'm considering Underclocking! lol
RE: Hi Bikeman and

Eh, you should keep in mind that unless you tinker with it, BOINC will automatically shift to EDF if a result is in deadline trouble. Off the cuff, I'd say your system should probably finish in about 32 hours (+/- 2 hours)...
Got through the current wu

Got through the current wu with the same "Client Error", "Compute Error" result.

Any ideas folks?
RE: Got through the current

I don't think you "got through" it. The credit claim is way low compared to the other system that reported already.
Have you checked for disk errors? How about my idea of updating video drivers and DirectX? How about turning off hyperthreading? Also, how about posting the messages log from when it bailed out on the result?
Ah, Exit code 99 again. All I

Ah, Exit code 99 again.
All I can say is to continue resetting the project. One day you'll get a work unit that doesn't have this corruption. I asked Bernd about this particular error, his answer is in the FAQs.
Thanks Brian and Ageless, I

Thanks Brian and Ageless,
I have reset once more and wil see if I manage to get a better result. Ageless, do you know if they have given patial credit for these flawed WU's? I ask not because I want them personally but for my team stats.
Thanks again,
Paul
RE: Ageless, do you know if
)
No, as far as I know they all receive zero credits, as they are an error. It's somewhere on Bernd's todo list to check into these errors. Closely behind the exit codes 10 and the General Access Violations (0xC0000005).
I am putting together a list of the diversity of the exit codes 99, when I'm done I'll forward it to Bernd.

Is the bad data from the project's side while building the results, or while creating the datapack, or is it being trashed while downloading, or is it still too early to tell?
