    Hi.
    I'm new to BOINC so go easy on me please :)

    Is situation like this normal, or should I report it somewhere?

      Hi, welcome to the Einstein project! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

      It's completely normal. Einstein uses a system of fixed credit for each type of task which better reflects the amount of work actually done by your computer. The BOINC credit claim is ignored when the server assigns the fixed credit. The credit claim is based on CPU time and this is inappropriate for work which is largely performed on a GPU.

      The story is more complicated than this but rest assured that the credits awarded for all types of work here are properly set by the Devs who make quite an effort to get it 'right' - ie fair to other similar scientific projects you might choose to support.
