Are you overclocking by chance? Another idea is to drop back a version of the Boinc software to 6.2.15. Version 6.4.5 has had some problems in some areas.

Arne, You are getting

Arne,

You are getting SIGNAL 11. BOINC FAQ Service says this about SIGNAL 11. See where it mentions the ia32 library. Did you install ia32? For Ubuntu the name is ia32-libs. Sorry, I don't know the correct name for SUSE.

He is also getting signal 6, but I didn't find that in the FAQ.

He has also returned a valid task, so I don't think it's the missing library.

Yes, I see now. If it's not due to excessive CPU temp or overclock then I would guess maybe a missing or corrupt library. Running the ldd command against the Einstein application quickly shows whether all libraries required by the application are installed.

I'm not sure if it is a library problem. What about overheating or faulty memory? Do you overclock?

On this computer you have returned a valid task on 17 Feb 2009 10:02:14 UTC. What has changed with your host since then?
