For months my Einstein@home takes 36 minute work units that run for 12 hours then "computation error" for the result 100% of thetime. 12 other BOINC projects work fine on my computer computing 5 simultaneously.

The only units currently shown for your host use the onboard Intel 4000 graphics.
Have you checked your version of the Intel graphics drivers against reports on this site of which versions work and which don't?
Also, do all those other projects you report as working on your host use the Intel 4000 graphics in their computation?

Adding to the comments given by archae86, I've found that the Intel GPU app do need on full CPU core as support or it will slow down to a crawl and take forever to finish. So try to leave at least one free CPU core to support the GPU app.
