My client downloads a bunch of Arecibo tasks, but these go immediately to 'computation error'.

My log file says, for one example,

"04/08/2012 02:21:13 | Einstein@Home | Output file p2030.20090702.G61.02+00.13.N.b4s0g0.00000_1848_0_0 for task p2030.20090702.G61.02+00.13.N.b4s0g0.00000_1848_0 absent"

What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks

OK from reading that thread I

OK from reading that thread I see a lot of people had problems with the new BOINC client and solved it by going back to the previous version.

I've followed suit, and it seems to have worked, I now have the Arecibo work units running without problem so far.

OK, been going for over a day

OK, been going for over a day now with the old version of BIONC (6.12.34), and no errors, so I guess it's really just a problem with the latest software.

We are still working on this

We are still working on this one, as going back to earlier versions of BOINC might be a valid workaraound, but of course it's not a real solution :-(.
