Closing down anonynous statistics access

Hi everyone,
due to new European legislation (see "GDPR") becoming effective on May 25th we are going to (among other things to be announced soon) lock down any anonymous statistics downloads. That said, we're going to provide individual service accounts to interested parties like BOINCstats or BOINC Combined Statistics. Each service account holder will have to agree to comply with the new legal obligations like data removal requests.
Feel free to contact us for a personal registered service account.

Sadly, I plan stopping
Sadly, I plan stopping crunching this project until Gridcoin project can again access the required data that it has to rely on in order to process its own data. :( I will try to find a replacement project that can afford to somehow *not comply* with the new privacy rules that have been introduced by the EU.... i.e a project with servers outside of the EU.
Maybe there will be a workaround, but I don't expect it anytime soon, so I will put this project on hold.

I quit too. It sure is taking a long time to sort this mess out. For GPU projects Milky Way & Asteroids seem to be working fine. For CPUs Rosetta & Large Hadron Colider.

If this is still about Gridcoin: they do have access to the stats again since almost a month. If there's anything wrong at their end we can't do anything about it. We'll contact them again, though, to hear what the issue is, if any...
