Right, I have a problem running boinc on on machine, becouse ther already sits IIS. Some bloody service under IIS is occupying port 1034 already.
I cannot start boinc becouse of that. Since I don't know what IIS is doing on 1034, i'd like to change the port, or switch listening off at all.

The BOINC port cannot be changed. Are you certain that it is not Active Sync causing the problem, it is known to grab every available port on the machine? In either case, the correct technique for fixing the problem is to load BOINC first, that way it gets the port, and the other program should succeed without it.
