Hi,
I am not getting work units.
History - of sorts:
- all working well, Had WU from 3 projects and working through them
- set no new work on all
- work completed on all but wcg (einsten completed)
- suspended network activity
- Had to shutdown computer; suspended all activity first.
- restarted computer - 'run always' selected.
- noticed that wcg resumed processing.
- allow new work on einstein
- nothing happened - saw that I forgot to set 'network activity always available' and did that.
- did update on eistein - get scheduler update succeeded but no work
- set 'allow work' from simap - get simap work

This has happened to me before - I had to reset project to get work.

Head-scratching performed.
Read through 3 pages of forum-posts on wu - no matches to this problem - that I saw.
No new directX, no new windows updates. I use threadmaster to avoid heat problems.

Would 'reset project' lose anything?

suggestions?

Thanks Jay

More than likely everything is OK. Read a little about the Work Scheduler in the BOINC Wiki.

Yes!! All turned out OK - but after I sent in the post..

I also had WU for WCG and SIMAP - one active and one prempted.
When the time slice for one ran out and the scheduler switched to the other task,
A work request was sent to einstein and WUs were downloaded.

T H A N K Y O U
for your response!!!
