Can't get files

    I haven't been able to get a file for two weeks. I get a message that tells me I need at least 1,200 MB free space. My preferences are set up for "Use no more than 12 GB" and "Leave at least 15 GB free." This has been my preferences since day 1. Now, I suddenly can't get any files. I would appreciate knowing why.

        I've upgraded to the most current version (5.4.9), and I'm still not getting files. It says "No disk space. You must have 1322.4 MB before BOINC gets space."

          This message does an excellent job of explaining how BOINC "General preferences" regarding disk usage are applied. It may help you solve your problem.
