      Try: go to Projects, highlight Einstein@ home and reset. That should allow you to download a new WU.

          Then for homework go read up on the Work Scheduler. Go read up on the Long Term Debt and Short Term Debt to understand why BOINC wasn't asking for new work.

          not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks means BOINC decided it had enough work in cache. Just let it run by itself, you don't need to check up on it constantly. If you do want to know how it works, stay off the panic buttons and try to learn how the program and underlying structure works.

            I have the same problem and resetting the project does not work.

            I have no work for Einstein@home at all so it does not have "enough" to work on.

            Very frustrating

              But it may have had more than it's fair share of E@H recently and now that debt must be repaid to the other projects.

                Oh OK - you are probably right and it did download some work in the meanwhile. I suppose I'm just a bit over-enthusiastic at times.

                  I have had a problem the last couple of weeks to get Boinc to download new work units. Tried today to upgrade Boinc to 5.2.13 and reconnect to the project. Pressing Send/Fetch results in the following communication and the status message "Communication Declined". I see no obvious way of solving this, pls help !

                  Addendum... -After carefully reading your excellent suggestions below, I realise it could be a debt issue. Climate Prediction steals all resources since it wants 1500 hours of computation in a short timeframe..
