Hello folks,
i've got an old linux-notebook which i want to delete
from the site: "View computers" in my profil. I've logged out the project from the boinc software on the computer as i did it on my windows-systems.
There's no boinc data on the linux anymore but i can't delete it, only "merge this computer".
How can i delete my linux-notebook? My credits are getting backwards 'cause of this old linux_box.

Your computers are hidden so we can't see whether or not there are results in the online database for the box you want to delete. If there are, simply wait for them to time out and then you will be able to delete the computer. A "delete" option will appear with the "merge" option if I remember correctly.
What do you mean by "My credits are getting backwards ...". Your old computer will not cause you to lose any credits!! Your RAC may be getting smaller if you are not crunching as much as previously but your TC will still be increasing with each validated result from any other computers you have working for E@H.

yes, there's a bit of claimed credit...so i've just wait until a timeout??How long does it take?

Depends on your fellow crunchers ;)
If the minimum of 3 results are in, the way through the system is roughly like this:
1; Validate wu, get canonical result and assign credit to all passing validation.
2; Assimilator copies the "canonical result" to the science database.
3; Waits till all results either reported and tried validated, or past deadline.
4; File_deleter removes all wu & result-files for this wu from upload/download-directory.
5; One week after #4, db_purger archieves and removes info for wu/results from BOINC database.
After this, the puter is "clean" and can be deleted ;)
