Can't connect to web sites

I'm very new to this, and I can't seem to figure out how to fix this problem. When I'm in the advanced view and I try to access one of the web sites such as 'common questions' or 'screensaver info' I keep getting the error message:
"BOINC Manager tried to display the web page (whatever URL I'm trying to access) but couldn't find a web browser. To fix this, set the environmental variable BROWSER to the path of your web browser then restart the BOINC Manager."
I've been scanning the threads trying to find a similar problem but can't find anything.
Any help?

Set up the browser of your choice as the default browser in Windows.
