Since you're using Sygate Personal Firewall, can you check the Traffic log to around the time you tried to attach to Einstein? Has it made the entry list and if so, what does it say? (I know, impossible to copy & paste, but just say what it says there. ;))
Also, in the Running Applications list, what are the port numbers for boinc.exe on listen (local only) and boinc.exe and boincmgr.exe on Connect (local and remote)?
Last thing, if you are using Windows, go Start->(Settings->)Control Panel->Internet Options, tab Connections, button LAN Settings. Look in the proxy box there. Is it empty?
Can you ping einstein.phys.uwm.edu ?
Can you do a tracert (either using the command line, or through SPF)?
Does the router have its own packet firewall? Does the router have an option set for a proxy? Can you (for testing purposes) by-pass the router and connect directly to the internet?
