It applies to all pencils, whether they'r blue ,happy, angry, grumpy or in love etc.
Most pencils are about as intelligent as a Ring Tailed Lemur. To quote the Lemur Keeper at Edinburgh Zoo "They are not the sharpest of animals"
There are two great dangers involved with blue pencils. Their missery can spread through the nest causing general lassitude, meaning the pencils of all colours break easily. ( This is not a rascist statement as colour is not genetic but dependant upon diet during infancy, rather like a Flamingoes' intake of caratine from shrimp) The second is they can excite the reds into revolution so the pencils spin onto the floor, again causing breakages. The intelligence of pencils can be artificially boosted for a short time by the use of a PENCIL SHARPENER. This implement can provide a short lasting boost but has a potentially fatal side effect of stimulating a progressive shrinkage of the body mass with each application.
Public Safety Announcement , A SHARP PENCIL IS A DANGEROUS PENCIL
AS you seem to be interested, why not sign up at your local night-school for a pencil care and obedience class. For some strange reason this is usually run by the art department.
PS As you probably know, my signature is a quote from the late great Stan Laurel
you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be led
I've got enough points pending to turn the corner on 10,000! WooooHooo! Some of these credits have been hanging around since last weekends update. I sure hope I get the credit. It seems credits are taking much longer to be awareded.

I just joined today. I see the team has moved up to 467. Great. I don't do chats or forums much and have no witty banter, but I think these projects are great. I started with seti@home which I knew about quite a few years ago. Just got started last month. Got a nice high powered computer earlier this year and just remembered about the program. I'm actually only doing einstein@home 1/3 of the time.

Sigh....I've never been politically correct. I guess I'll have to settle for the blue pencil.

Does this apply also to a blue pencil? Fascinating question!
